Anatolia has been the center of Christianity ever since St. Paul, St. Peter, St. John. Many other apostles came here to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This intensive religious effort bore fruit in the building of "Seven Churches of Revelation" in seven major cities throughout western Anatolia.

Day 1 Early morning flight to SMYRNA (İzmir) or night bus to Kuşadası, recipient of a letter from St. Paul praising the early believers for their faithfullness. Drive to PERGAMON (Bergama), the place where wrote St. John to the church of Pergamon "Satan's throne is sited". Visit the impressive structures dating back to 339 B.C. Pergamon was a famous health center where methods of treatment such as blood transfusion, therapy with music and the sound of water and meditation were first used. Drive to THYATERIA (Akhisar), one of the principle towns where Christianity spread from and visit the ruins of the church. Drive to SMYRNA (İzmir) visiting ST. POLYCARP CHURCH. Dinner and overnight in Kuşadası.

Day 2 Departure after breakfast and visit to EPHESOS (Efes), most important of the "Seven Churches of Asia Minor", where St. John brought Mary in fulfillment of his pledge to Jesus to protect her, she is believed to have taken into heaven. Visit to the last abode of Virgin Mary. Drive to LAODICEA (Denizli), once the seat of Bishopric and hosted an important Ecumenical Council in the 4th century. A crossroad of the ancient world, home of Philip the Evangelist. Visit the ruins of HIERAPOLIS. Dinner and overnight in Kuşadası.

Day 3 Departure after breakfast for PHILADELPHIA (Alaşehir), an important Christian center of Byzantine times. Visit the site and continue to SARDİS (Salihli), holding important place in mythology. Evening flight from İzmir or night bus from Kuşadası to İstanbul.
