Day 1 - Arrival - Istanbul
Upon arrival meet and transfer to the city for half day afternoon tour including the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles and unique with its 6 minarets built in the name of Sultan Ahmet; the Hippodrome where chariot races used to take place. Next we will visit St. Sophia Museum which is one of the great architectural marvels of the ancient world. Then check-in to the hotel for dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 2- Istanbul - Bursa
After breakfast departure from the hotel to embark the ferryboat to Yalova. Then drive to Bursa, enjoying the idyllic scenery. After lunch we drive to Mt. Uludag, the legendary Mt. Olympos. Return to Bursan and visit Ulu Cami (Grand Mosque), then the Green Mausoleum, the Silk Market. Dinner and overnight in Bursan. (B-L-D)
Day 3- Bursa - Pamukkale
We depart this morning for Pamukkale - one of the most scenic wonders of Turkey visiting the incredible natural wonder with its shining-white fairy tale calcareous waterfall descending over hundreds of meters. Should you desire to quit this white dream for a real world, you will have to leave these snowy terraces in order to visit the antique city of Hierapolis. Here you will see the Roman Baths, The Temple of Apollon and Nymphaeum. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (B-L-D)
Day 4- Pamukkale - Konya
Following breakfast we will travel to Konya. Konya was the center of Seljuk Empire, with many examples of Turkish Islamic art and architecture. Konya is situated in the midst of a windswept plateau at an altitude of 1030 meters. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, 13th century theological schools of Karatay and Ince Minare, check-in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Konya. (B-L-D)
Day 5- Konya - Cappadocia
After breakfast we will continue to Cappadocia. Arrival and visit the underground city of Kaymakli where early Christian dwellings extended downwards into the earth for at least eight floors in a maze of tunnels and rooms. We will also visit Avanos Village and the natural Citadel of Uchisar. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B-L-D)
Day 6- Cappadocia - Ankara
After breakfast, visit Goreme Valley to explore the unusual troglodyte dwellings-remains of early churches, some decorated with scratched frescoes and complicated rooms hollowed out of the cones of volcanic ash. Then drive to Ankara. On the way visit Seljuk Agzikarahan Caravanserai. Dinner and overnight in Ankara. (B-L-D)
Day 7- Ankara - Istanbul
After breakfast we visit the well known Museum of Ancient Anatolian Civilizations with its great Hittite collection, Haci Bayram Mosque and the Ataturk (1881-1938) Mausoleum, founding father of the Turkish Republic. Then drive to Istanbull. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul. (B-L-D)
Day 8- Departure
After breakfast visit the famous Topkapi Palace. A marvellous oriental palace which was the seat of the government of the Ottoman Empire for many centuries. Lunch at a local restaurant and then transfer to airport. (B-L)
